Circle Time

As a preschool teacher, Circle Time is one of the most special moments in the classroom. It is a time when children gather together, listen to stories, ask questions, share ideas, and actively participate in learning.
When teachers read and act out books during Circle Time, children become more engaged and excited about learning. The stories come alive through expressions, voices, and movements, helping children better understand the characters and emotions.
Circle Time also encourages communication and social skills. Children learn to listen, wait their turn, ask questions, and express their thoughts and feelings in a group setting.
Another important benefit is the development of imagination and creativity. As children interact with the story, they begin to think critically, predict what may happen next, and connect stories to their own experiences.
Most importantly, Circle Time creates a warm and positive classroom environment where children feel included, valued, and confident to participate.
Through stories, conversations, and shared laughter, Circle Time helps build both learning and community in the preschool classroom.
